Application area:
Suitable for storage and filling of various filling-materials like foam-flocks or foam-sticks into cushion-covers (not suitable for polyesther-fibres). Either screw-type-fillers and/or blower-fillers can be connected to the silos. The screw-type fillers can produce fillings with strong pressure – also fillings into airimpermeable covers are possible. (Disadvantage: At strong pressure fillings the fillingmaterial tends to lump-building / large filling-openings are necessary).
The blower-fillers Type GFE are available in different performances (depending on cushion-size or fabric) and have the advantage to blow-fill the filling-material equally and quickly into airpermeable covers with small filling-openings. To connect the blowerfiller, the silo needs a “suction-station” consisting out of an internal filling-bin with motorized rotation-screw, which keeps the materials loose.
Mode of operation:
The silos are filled by excess pressure procedure with a material transporting blower. The excess pressure escapes through a filter cloth on top of the silo. Slow running agitators keep the filling-material loose. The standard version includes the silo with 2 wall-sections (SFF-M = 3,6 m3 capacity; SFF = 10 m3 capacity), stirring-device(s) (SFF-M = 1 piece; SFF = 4 pieces), filter-cloth and electric control. The silos can be extended in height to max. 4 wall-sections. Each wall-section is 900 mm high and has a filling capacity of approx. 1,8 m3 (SFF-M) resp. 5 m3 (SFF). All silos can be equipped with screw-fillers in various diameters (160 mm or 200 mm or 400 mm – cylindrical or conical) and/or up to 4 suction-stations for blower- fillers for discharging the filling-material out of the silo.
Accessories:
By installation of a time-switch control the desired filling amount can be preselected volume rated with a tolerance of approx. +/- 5 % (available for blower-filler and screw-filler).
The version with screw diamater 400 mm is equipped with a tension belt to fill large belts.
