The machine is suitable for PU-foam-materials, Latex pieces and frameless coil-spring-materials with foam-casing – the fillings can also be covered with fleece-wadding.
The cores are placed onto a roller-table with drive on the backside of the machine and pushed towards the 2 lateral pressbelts. The pressbelts holds the core with their gripsy tread and presses it through the conical infeed in its
width as much that the cover slides easily over the mouthpiece. Another pair of pressbelts are mounted in the middle and transports the core perfectly through the mouthpiece into the cover.
The electric width-adjustment with end-stop-device has a moving-speed of appr. 30 mm/sec. with the central adjustment or 15 mm/sec. with decentral adjustment to adjust the mouthpiece without force steplessly to the desired width. Height-adjustment is done steplessly by a handwheel or optional electically with end-stop-device. Depending on the machine-width 4 – 8 stainless-steel-mouthpiece-plates with Teflon-coating on the inner sides lead the fillings and prevent them from bending.
The length of the mouthpiece is 910 mm. The width of the pressbelts is 60 mm. The filling speed is approx. 55 cm/sec. – with forward and reverse movement. 2 operators can cover up to 100 mattresses or up to 240 cushions per hour.
